We did make some changes and ended up with a version that worked, however, it ran so slowly and froze computers that it wasn't possible to obtain any meaningful test results. The native version of this indicator would not run in Forex Tester. I was working with a group of traders at the time testing supdem indie, an MT4 indie based on the ZigZag indicator. The standard data accessed via the program appeared to only resolve to 2 x decimal places, and (if memory serves me correct), if one needed more accurate data, it needed to be purchased at extra cost. Unless they've changed their system, I found that importing historic data into the program was a non-intuitive tedious process. I couldn't agree more - obtaining and testing one's own broker data is absolutely purchased Forex Tester 2 a few years ago, but try as I did, couldn't get on with it.
